We, Eight-Japan Engineering Consultants Inc. (\u201cEJEC\u201d) presented at the business pitch during the \"JICA Clean City Initiative (JCCI) International Seminar 2025\" held on February 5, 2025. Furthermore, we exhibited at the online exhibition held from January 27 to February 7.
\r\n
\r\nThe seminar, hosted by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and supported by the Ministry of the Environment, Japan; Japan Science and Technology Agency; and Japan Environmental Sanitation Center, was held in a hybrid format at the JA Kyosai Building Conference Hall in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo and online.

\r\nA total of 642 participants from 88 countries attended. The seminar featured progress and future development of JCCI, actions towards circular economy and carbon neutrality, promotion of collaboration between governments, universities and private sector, waste management in Africa in preparation for The Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9), and presentations on environmental management and climate change solutions by Japanese companies.

\r\nFrom EJEC, Ms. Kotoe Kuroda in the Environment and Energy Division, International Department, gave a presentation titled \"Creating valuable forests and cities for the future: EJEC\u2019s environmental consulting services\" ,introducing the following projects:
\r\n1.\tEnvironment, social and climate change considerations in JICA's Nagdhunga Tunnel Construction Project (Nepal) and Eco-Town planning (Thailand), as projects on urban climate action and synergy
\r\n2.\tManufacturing products utilizing discarded timber and local wood by EJEC's subsidiary company \u2013 NAKAWOOD Co., Ltd, as a project on collaboration and circular economy
\r\n3.\tWaste analysis & characteristics survey for waste-to-energy plants (Indonesia and the Philippines), as a project on waste management
